IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #18-43
Scheduling Public Hearing on proposed re-zoning of property located at 324 and 326 W. 2nd Street from R-2 Two-Family Residential to R-3 Multiple Family Residential District for April 16, 2018 at 6:00 p.m.
WHEREAS, The Monticello Planning & Zoning Board considered and recommended the re-zoning of property located at 324 and 326 W. 2nd Street from R-2 Two-Family Residential to R-3 Multiple Family Residential and Condominium District, and
WHEREAS, In furtherance of the recommendation of the Planning & Zoning Board a Public Hearing will be set, allowing public input before considering the approval of an Ordinance modifying the current zoning classification, with notice of the Public Hearing to be published in the Monticello Express in advance thereof consistent with the Code of Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby schedule a Public Hearing on the proposed re-zoning of property located at 324 and 326 W. 2nd Street from R-2 Two-Family Residential to R-3 Multiple Family Residential and Condominium District for April 16, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. and directs that notice of said public hearing be published in the Monticello Express as required by the Iowa Code.
