IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #17-66
Resolution Accepting bids related to 2017 Tee Hangar Project and awarding project to Schaus-Vorhies Contracting, contingent upon FAA Funding Approval
WHEREAS, The City of Monticello sought bids for the construction of a T-Hangar at the Monticello Airport with bid option one being a Ten-T Hangar, bid option two being an Eight-T option, and Bid Alternate A being additional concrete work between the existing Ten-T Hangar and the new T Hangar, and
WHEREAS, Three bids were received, as follows:

WHEREAS, The Council finds, in consideration of the recommendations of the Airport Board and the City Engineer, that the project should be awarded to Schaus Vorhies, the low bidder, and that the City should proceed with the Ten-T Hangar project and not include Bid Alternate A at this time, and
WHEREAS, The Council also finds that the FAA must approve funding for this project after a review of the bids, and, therefore, that this award is contingent upon FAA approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby accept the bids related to the 2017 Tee Hangar Project, chooses to proceed with the Ten-T Hangar design, to not proceed with Bid Alternate A, and awards the project to Schaus-Vorhies Contracting, contingent upon FAA Funding Approval.
