IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION #16-127
Approving Michel Cox Tax Abatement Application related to Residential
Improvements constructed at 956 Valley Drive, Monticello, Iowa.
WHEREAS, Monticello has enacted an Urban Revitalization Tax Abatement program and codified same at Chapter 10 of the Monticello Code of Ordinances, and
WHEREAS, Michael Cox have completed and filed an Application for Tax Abatement related to their home, a Residentially zoned property, located at 956 Valley Drive, Monticello, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, The City Council has reviewed said Application, and finds that the information submitted therein is consistent with that required by the Monticello Code of Ordinances.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby approve the Application for Tax Abatement filed by Michael Cox as set forth above, consistent with Chapter 10 of the Monticello Code of Ordinances, said Application bearing the date of September 20, 2016 and being signed by Michael Cox and further directs the Monticello City Clerk to file same with the Jones County Assessor as prescribed by law.
