RESOLUTION # 11-20
A resolution setting the public hearing on the matter of the proposed authorization to redirect certain unspent proceeds of the 2004 General Obligation Urban Renewal Corporate Purpose Bonds and 2008B General Obligation Urban Renewal Corporate Purpose Bonds to other public purposes.
WHEREAS, the City Council proposes to take additional action for the authorization to redirect certain unspent proceeds of the 2004 General Obligation Urban Renewal Corporate Purpose Bonds and 2008B General Obligation Urban Renewal Corporate Purpose Bonds, in the maximum amounts of $6,004.82 and $360,285.27, respectively be used for other essential corporate purposes of the City, in order to pay costs of the 2011 Second Street Reconstruction project, including the construction of the street, curb and gutter improvements, storm sewer and drainage improvements, water system extensions, improvements and connections, sanitary sewer system extensions, improvements and connections, sidewalk, pedestrian ramps, driveway approaches and other remedial work; and.
WHEREAS, the City Council is required to set a public hearing for public input.
WHEREAS, the City Council set the public hearing for authorization to redirect certain unspent proceeds of the 2004 General Obligation Urban Renewal Corporate Purpose Bonds and 2008B General Obligation Urban Renewal Corporate Purpose Bonds to other public purposes at 6:00 o’clock p.m., at the Monticello Renaissance Center, Community Media Room, 220 East First Street, in the City, on March 7, 2011; and,
WHEREUPON the Mayor of the City of Monticello declared the following Resolution duly adopted: A resolution setting the public hearing for authorization to redirect certain unspent proceeds of the 2004 General Obligation Urban Renewal Corporate Purpose Bonds and 2008B General Obligation Urban Renewal Corporate Purpose Bonds to other public purposes.
