IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION # 11-125
Approving Kevin Holtz and Joe Goetz Application for Tax Exemption on Improvements to the property located at 901 North Cedar Street, Monticello, Iowa.
WHEREAS, Monticello has enacted an Urban Revitalization Tax Abatement program and codified same at Chapter 10 of the Monticello Code of Ordinances, and
WHEREAS, Kevin Holtz and Joe Goetz have completed and filed an Application for Tax Abatement on their property, a Commercially zoned property located at 901 North Cedar Street, Monticello, Iowa, storage sheds, used for commercial purposes, and
WHEREAS, The City Council has reviewed said Application, and finds that the information submitted therein is consistent with that required by the Monticello Code of Ordinances.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby approve the Application for Tax Abatement filed by Kevin Holtz and Joe Goetz as set forth above, consistent with Chapter 10 of the Monticello Code of Ordinances, said Application bearing the date of 01/12/2011 and being signed by Kevin Holtz and Joe Goetz, and further directs the Monticello City Clerk to file same with the Jones County Assessor as prescribed by law.
