RESOLUTION #10-34
Resolution approving policy with regard to Ambulance Volunteers rights to
Ambulance usage reduced rate privileges.
WHEREAS, the City of Monticello has discussed at a number of meetings the appropriateness of a policy to address the methods to be employed by the Ambulance Service when billing Ambulance Volunteers for services rendered by the Ambulance Service to said volunteer, and
WHEREAS, after careful review and analysis, the council finds it appropriate to pass a policy that provides some level of benefit to Ambulance Volunteers, as defined and described therein, and
WHEREAS, the Council has reviewed a Policy drafted by the City Administrator after consultation with the Ambulance Director and the City Council, a copy of same being attached hereto, and by this reference incorporated within this Resolution as if same had been set forth fully verbatim herein, and
WHEREAS, the Council finds the attached Policy to be consistent with the prior discussions and directives of the City Council and otherwise appropriate for approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City of Monticello Council meeting in regular session this 15th day of March, 2010 does hereby approve of the “Ambulance Volunteers Usage Rate Privileges” policy.
