IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO, IOWA
RESOLUTION # 10-112
Approving Doug and Leann Herman Application for Tax Exemption on Improvements to the property located at 200-206 South Cedar Street, Monticello, Iowa.
WHEREAS, Monticello has enacted an Urban Revitalization Tax Abatement program and codified same at Chapter 10 of the Monticello Code of Ordinances, and
WHEREAS, Doug and Leann Herman have completed and filed an Application for Tax Abatement on their property, a Commercially zoned property located at 200-206 South Cedar Street, Monticello, Iowa, used for both commercial and residential purposes, and
WHEREAS, The City Council has reviewed said Application, and finds that the information submitted therein is consistent with that required by the Monticello Code of Ordinances.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Monticello, Iowa does hereby approve the Application for Tax Abatement filed by Doug and Leann Herman as set forth above, consistent with Chapter 10 of the Monticello Code of Ordinances, said Application bearing the date of 9/1/2010 and being signed by Doug Herman, and further directs the Monticello City Clerk to file same with the Jones County Assessor as prescribed by law.
