About
The Monticello Regional Airport was dedicated on Aug. 12, 2001 to the past, present and future aviators. Funding for the new airport was from the Iowa Dept. of Transportation, FAA and the Citizens of Monticello. The following document represents a summary of notable facts, events, happenings, and related background, associated with the Monticello Airport. It is a “living” document and will be updated and supplemented when found to be appropriate.

Location
The Monticello Regional Airport is about a half mile south of Monticello along HWY 38. It is the only public Airport in Jones County.
Monticello Aviation
The Monticello Regional Airport is operated by Monticello Aviation Inc. Monticello Aviation is a Certified Repair Station. They also offer flight training, aircraft rental, fuel & hangar storage for aircraft.
